MENANDS, N.Y. — The Christmas spirit was on full display in Menands on Christmas Eve as hundreds of community members came together to support animals in need at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s annual “Morning of Kindness.”
Now in its 13th year, the event has become a holiday tradition for many families across the Capital Region. More than 250 families stopped by the shelter to donate food, supplies and toys, helping fill a CDTA trolley with much-needed items for animals awaiting adoption.
