A lot has changed in 20 years.
Later that same year, Facebook became available to the public. Eventually, books found a place on Instagram and TikTok. Writers flooded Twitter, then fled to Substack. Netflix started up (remember mailing back the DVDs?), and then movies and TV became available 24/7 through streaming services…
