In Janaury, Caffè Lena and Putnam Place will present a special Jazz at Caffè Lena performance featuring pianist Chuck Lamb with The Dylan Perrillo Orchestra. The Tuesday, January 13 show takes place at Putnam Place, and will feature a full 16-piece orchestra, with reserved seating for all ticket buyers.
This evening of music combines Lamb’s contemporary jazz approach with the Perrillo Orchestra’s focus on early American jazz traditions, offering audiences an opportunity to hear two distinct musical perspectives in conversation.
Holding this show at Putnam Place allows the full orchestra to perform comfortably on a stage built for large-ensemble impact, while also welcoming a bigger audience into the experience. “After our wonderful summer collaboration, Chuck Lamb, Jorge Gomez: Cuban Fusion w/ Ria Curley Nu-Soul-Jazz Collab, we’re delighted to partner with Putnam Place again.
