Ravena emergency crews tackle water main break and car crash in a busy weekend start

RAVENA, NY (WRGB) — It was a busy start to the weekend in Ravena as emergency crews responded to multiple calls.

According to the Ravena Fire Department Facebook page, they were dispatched to a residence on Dempster Street for water flowing into the basement of the home. A water main break was the cause of the flooding, and the Village’s Highway and Water Department responded.

As crews were wrapping up at the scene, they were dispatched to a car crash on the New York State Thruway…
