GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. (WNYT)- Residents in the Village of Green Island should plan for an extended power outage, village officials announced on social media.
“Crews are aware of the outage and National Grid has been notified,” a post Monday, December 29 around 7 a.m. said. “Restoration will require coordination between GIPA, National Grid, and CP Rail.”
An update around 9:30 a.m. said residents should plan on an extended power outage. “We are awaiting assistance from additional support crews that are currently staged or responding to other outage areas,” they said…
