MALTA, NY (WRGB) — A Malta woman faces charges of animal cruelty after authorities allege she neglected two rabbits in her care.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashley L. Marble, 37, on Dec. 28, 2025, on an arrest warrant issued by the Malta Town Court. Marble is charged with two counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals, as well as failure to provide proper sustenance, all class A misdemeanors.
The charges stem from incidents in October 2025, when Marble allegedly failed to provide adequate care for the rabbits, which were reportedly infested with fleas and kept in unsanitary conditions.
