ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany County Legislative Black Caucus is collecting donations from Jan. 5 through Feb. 20 for the 8th annual Martin Luther King Food Drive. The group is collecting non-perishable food items, feminine hygiene products, infant formula, diapers, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and monetary donations.
All donations will benefit the Regional Food Bank.

“Coming out of the season of giving, I am hopeful we can find more within our hearts to continue to support each other,” Albany County Legislature Deputy Chairwoman Wanda Willingham said. “Even if it is small, as Dr. King said, ‘No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.’”
