Electric bike rider killed after hitting a vehicle in Arbor Hill, police say

ALBANY — An electric bike rider died early Sunday morning after he hit a vehicle in Arbor Hill, according to Albany police.

An early police investigation determined the rider, a 46-year-old man, had been traveling south on Ten Broeck Street, turned left onto Clinton Avenue, and struck the passenger side of a vehicle that was traveling on the road.

When police responded to the scene shortly after 1 a.m., officers found the man in the road with serious injuries. Albany Fire Department staff and emergency medical personnel treated him at the scene and transported him to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he later died from his injuries…
