Greenfield, NY (WRGB) — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Greenfield man following an investigation into an animal cruelty complaint, according to authorities.
The complaint was received on December 24, 2025, and stemmed from an incident that reportedly occurred on South Greenfield Road in Greenfield. Following an investigation, deputies arrested 30-year-old Richard Doyle of Greenfield. Doyle is charged with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals and failure to provide proper sustenance, both classified as Class A misdemeanors.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Doyle is accused of failing to provide sustenance to a pit bull that later died. Authorities say four additional pit bulls were located at the residence and were surrendered to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter…
