Man in mobility scooter hit by vehicle, deputies say driver had BAC 3x legal limit

Queensbury, NY (WRGB) — A 27-year-old Albany man was arrested Wednesday morning following a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian riding a mobility scooter in Queensbury, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the incident was reported around 6:06 a.m. on January 7, 2026, on Bay Road. When patrol officers arrived, they found a 60-year-old Queensbury man who had been hit by a vehicle while operating his mobility scooter.
