Neil Levine, owner of Colonial Cleaners, dies at 67

ALBANY — Neil Levine, co-owner of Colonial Cleaners in Albany, died suddenly at his Loudonville home on Jan. 5. He was 67.

Generations of Albany area residents and Levine’s close-knit family are mourning his passing, which has prompted the imminent closure of Colonial Cleaners. The business has operated in Albany by the Levine family for more than a century.

“My father was the glue to this business,” said Levine’s son, Brandon. “Without him here, things just aren’t possible to move forward.”…
