ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) —For 90 years, Colonial Cleaners has been a staple in Albany—serving generations of families and building lasting relationships in the community. Owner Neil Levine, died at the age of 67 unexpectedly at his home last Monday. After the sudden death the longtime family business is preparing to close its doors.
It began with Neil’s grandparents, then passed to his uncle and father—until Neil took the reins in 2008.
“All week it’s been we laugh, we cry, and one word that came to my mind when all of this happened was life,” said Jaime Levine, Neil’s wife of 42 years.
