Parents showed up to the Schenectady City School board meeting on Wednesday night, demanding answers after a photo surfaced showing what they claim is a staff member stepping on the back of a second-grade student.
The image, posted on Facebook by Ashley Rivera, shows her son, who has ADHD, lying on the carpet, with the mother claiming the librarian’s foot was placed on his back. Rivera said the incident occurred before Christmas, but she only learned about it this week from a paraprofessional at the school.
