COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) —On Wednesday a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Central Avenue in Colonie — an area some say is known for accidents. The accident happened at 1157 Central Avenue where officials believed the 77-year-old Cornelius Morrison was trying to cross the street when they were hit. The driver was not impaired and was cooperating with police.
Chief of the Fuller Road Fire Department says he’s seen many accidents at that area throughout the years.
