Multiple crashes, road closures across Capital Region

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — As snow made its way through the Capital Region on Saturday, 511NY reported several car crashes across the area.

Multiple roads have been shut down throughout the day, including on New York State Route 337 in Rotterdam, the Northway northbound on-ramp to Exit 17N in Gansevoort and New York Route 29 in Galway. All roadways have since reopened, according to 511NY.

Several other crashes have also been reported, including near Troy, Saratoga Springs, Malta, Hudson, Rhinebeck and elsewhere. Just before 1 p.m., New York State Police said they were responding to multiple weather-related collisions on the Taconic State Parkway.
