On Friday morning, the girl’s father came directly to NEWS10 asking for answers after an alleged incident involving his 9th grader at Mohonasen High School. “My daughter was attending a wrestling practice and was kind of goofing off in front of her trusted coaches and he didn’t like what was going on. And he smacked her in the mouth,” said Desire Rostocki, the student’s mother.

The mother said that she found out about the incident through another coach on Thursday night, and that she was not contacted by the district. The mother also said that she went to the district Friday morning, and that the school’s resource officer showed her security video of the incident.
