Amsterdam restaurant wins “Best Soup in the City” three years in a row

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10)– On Saturday, over 1,500 votes were cast for the best and unique soups in the city of Amsterdam. One business received the honor of winning both of those awards at the annual Soupfest.

According to the City of Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing and Recreation department, for the first time ever, “Best Soup in the City” and “Most Unique Soup in the City” were both awarded to Tom Tambasco and LLV Creekside. The restaurant won for its Cajun Chicken Chowder.

“A sincere thank you to all who came out and voted,” LLV Creekside shared on Facebook. “We appreciate the support and look forward to the next one!”

LLV Creekside is not a stranger to winning the event, however. In 2025, the restaurant was awarded “Best Soup in the City” for its crab and corn chowder and again in 2024 for its Chicken Cordon Bleu Soup…
