The National Weather Service says a developing coastal system will bring light to moderate snow through Sunday night, and the Winter Weather Advisory has now been expanded to areas south and east of Albany as projections climb.
According to the updated map issued early Sunday, the highest accumulation in the region is expected in Litchfield County and Western Massachusetts. Torrington and Waterbury are both forecast for 4 to 6 inches, with nearby Kent, Great Barrington, Pittsfield, Springfield, and Hartford projected for 3 to 4 inches.
