SCHENECTADY COUNTY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A now-former high school wrestling coach is expected to face charges Tuesday after being accused of hitting a 14-year-old girl. The girl’s mother says the entire incident was caught on camera.
CBS6’s Sean Cavanaugh spoke with the girl’s mother Monday afternoon. She spoke about what happened based on the surveillance video she was shown and what her daughter told her.
It happened around 4:30 Thursday evening. Desrie Rostocki said her daughter, who is on the combined girls’ Mohonasen and Schalmont wrestling team, was dancing around during practice and went over to boys’ Mohonasen wrestling coach Terry Lawson. She says the girl touched him on the chin with her finger to get his attention…
