Man with 30+ arrests, 13 felonies labeled ‘persistent offender’

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A man with more than 30 arrests and 13 felony convictions has been deemed a persistent felony offender by New York State.

Vincent Squitieri, 46, most recently of Albany, was sentenced to 19 years to life in prison. District Attorney Lee Kindlon made the announcement on Wednesday.

Squitieri pleaded guilty to robbing Lark Central Market on Lark Street last April. Prosecutors say he threatened to shoot the cashier, damaged the register, and stole $500. Police used surveillance footage to help find him…
