BRUNSWICK — Over a year after a fatal crash on Tamarac Road, a 32-year-old from Troy is charged with killing the other driver, State Police said Friday.
Waylon A. Phillips was arrested Wednesday for felony criminally negligent homicide and traffic violations. Phillips was involved in an Aug. 23, 2024, crash where he collided with a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Richard F. Turner of Troy. State Police said an investigation determined he was driving nearly twice the 45-mph speed limit when he crossed into the eastbound lane and struck Turner.
