ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Governor Hochul delivered her executive budget presentation for fiscal year 2027. The proposed budget was $260 billion dollars, a six billion dollar increase over the 2026 budget.
This week on Empire State Weekly, Blake Washington, the State Budget Director discussed the key items in the governor’s executive budget proposal. He explained how the money for education spending would be distributed.
