ALBANY — Zacceus Cancer was sentenced to 30 years in prison Tuesday afternoon for shooting a man last year near an Interstate 787 exit ramp.
He faced up to 40 years in prison after a jury in November convicted Cancer of attempted murder and other charges in connection with the Sept. 7, 2024, shooting in Menands.
