Albany bar offers free brews during snow emergency

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Albany residents have a chance to warm up after shoveling the large amount of snow that coated the Capital Region this past weekend at a local bar. The Copper Crow will offer city residents a free drink as a relief from the storm.

Anyone who stops by The Copper Crow on January 27 and 28 can receive their first drink free, as the offer is valid only while the snow emergency remains in effect. The restaurant said patrons can redeem the offer with a valid state-issued ID that lists an Albany address, or with a photo of the person shoveling snow on an Albany street.

“Shoveling out from a storm like this is no small task, especially when there’s nowhere to put the snow,” The Copper Crow owner, Jason Pierce, said. “We wanted to give city residents a reason to warm up, unwind, and feel appreciated after all the hard work.”
