ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — An Albany woman was sentenced to 10 years in state prison for a 2025 stabbing. Kinyetta Gordon, 39, pleaded guilty to assault in November after initially being charged with attempted murder.
Officials said it stemmed from a fight outside an early morning house party on July 19, 2025 on Lexington Avenue. Gordon targeted a 36-year-old woman, who was an acquaintance of hers.

The victim went to Albany Memorial Hospital with stab wounds to her neck, shoulder and back. She was then transferred to Albany Medical Center for lifesaving emergency surgery.
Gordon was arrested at the hospital where she was receiving treatment for a cut to her hand. A second victim also sustained a cut to her hand while trying to break up the fight and help the victim…
