Boil water order lifted in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Schenectady County officials announced on Friday that the boil water order issued for part of Schenectady earlier this week has been lifted. The advisory impacted addresses 311 through 520 on Gifford Road and the Woodlawn School on Wells Avenue.

The local order stemmed from a water main break in the area on Tuesday that has since been repaired. Residents are encouraged to flush all water lines for at least five minutes out of an abundance of caution.
