ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — The third annual Heart Recovery Reunion took place at St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday, reuniting three patients and their families with the medical teams that helped save their lives.
CBS6 was there as one of those patients expressed their gratitude.
“One of the things that really sticks with me is while I was unconscious, you were not only caring for me, you were caring for my family,” said Darrell Holovach of Hoosick Falls. “Bringing them blankets in the middle of the night — whatever it took.”…
