BETHLEHEM — A Ringgold, Va., man has been charged with a felony in connection with the three-car collision on Interstate 87 last fall that killed a Glens Falls woman.
William F. McAllister III, 38, was charged with criminally negligent homicide on Tuesday, according to a news release from State Police. Troopers say their investigation found that McAllister was allegedly speeding at more than 130 miles per hour when the crash happened.
The crash happened around 4:44 p.m. on Nov. 1 near Exit 23 in Bethlehem. A 2011 Chevrolet sedan, driven by McAllister, was traveling northbound in the left lane when he tried to merge into the right lane and sideswiped a 2009 Ram pickup truck, according to a news release from State Police.
