COLONIE — Residents expecting their usual water bill will likely see a higher total after the town restructured its payment system this year.
The utility bill sent out to about 21,000 customers on Jan. 31 now includes a sewer bill in addition to the water bill, officials explained.
“It’s changed to a town of Colonie utility bill,” said Dan Seaver, superintendent of the Division of Latham Water, which provides most of the town’s water. “It covers more than one utility.”…
