ALBANY – The executive deputy commissioner of the state Department of Health and other top administrators met with employees at an aging office facility in Albany on Tuesday, a move that some employees felt did little to address their concerns about the building’s air quality and its impact on their health.
Those concerns, detailed by the Times Union last week, have been ongoing for years and were exacerbated by two ceiling collapses at the leased building at 875 Central Ave.
In addition to headaches and other health concerns workers have attributed to the perceived poor quality of the air inside the building, employees also said that department administrators have not been transparent about what was making people sick and when the state plans to move them from the building…
