Local Teen Racked Up 7K on Mom’s Card
A Saratoga County minor is facing a felony charge after investigators say they went on a pricey shopping spree using their mother’s credit card.
According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, the minor was arrested on Tuesday and charged with grand larceny in the third degree, a class E felony, following a complaint in the town of Charlton.
DoorDash, GOAT, Amazon, and Walmart
Authorities say the teen is accused of taking their mother’s credit card and racking up roughly $7,000 in unauthorized purchases between January 19th and January 21st.
Investigators report the charges included spending at DoorDash, GOAT, StockX, Amazon, and Walmart, which suggests this wasn’t exactly a “ramen noodles and gas money” situation…
