Albany, New York – A historic deep freeze gripping eastern New York is raising growing concerns for infrastructure and public safety as temperatures remain below freezing for more than two consecutive weeks.
According to the National Weather Service Albany office, Albany, Poughkeepsie, and Glens Falls have not recorded a daytime high above 32 degrees in over 14 days, placing the region among its longest cold stretches on record.
