CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (WNYT)- A “racially sensitive” incident between a coach and a student athlete is under investigation by the district, the district said in communication sent to the school community.
“This matter will be thoroughly investigated and necessary actions will be taken in accordance with district policy and regulations. The athletic director is working with the team and their families to provide support they may need,” the communication said.
The district emphasized its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, stating that racist comments or actions are unacceptable. They did not say which coach was being investigated or which team was affected…
