New York woman accused of stealing $27K from several Webster Bank locations in Connecticut

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A New York woman is accused of fraudulently withdrawing approximately $27,000 from various Webster Bank locations across Connecticut several summers ago, according to South Windsor police.

Kimberly A. Maine, 54, of Troy, New York, was arrested Thursday on a warrant. She was charged with first-degree larceny, first-degree identity theft, and payment card theft.

According to police, in July 2021 three vehicles were allegedly broken into on Nevers Road Park. A driver’s license and bank card were stolen from a person, and about $27,000 was withdrawn from several Webster Bank locations.

In February 2023, Maine was identified as a suspect after Blackstone, Massachusetts police arrested her for allegedly fraudulently withdrawing money from a bank in their town, police said…
