Albany man found guilty of gun charges after 2-day trial

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – Albany County District Attorney Lee Kindlon says an Albany man has been found guilty of gun related charges.

On May 12, 2025, Brian Briggs, 33, was observed arguing with his mother, as the dispute turned physical.

When a bystander attempted to intervene, Briggs pulled out a Glock 9mm handgun and ordered the man to empty his pockets, stealing the man’s phone, keys, and a lanyard…
