COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A northeastern furniture and mattress company with several locations around the Capital Region is adding a new store in the Albany area. Old Brick Furniture & Mattress Company will take over the former Metro Mattress store space on Wolf Road in Colonie.

The new location is the second store expansion the furniture retailer has announced for 2026, following its December announcement to open a new and second Ashley Furniture store at Crossgates Mall. Officials at Old Brick Furniture & Mattress Company said the new stores feature a streamlined, category-focused retail concept to simplify the mattress purchase process.
The Wolf Road store will have a curated collection of innerspring, memory foam, hybrid, and adjustable mattresses. Customers can also expect a range of financing options, delivery services, and next-day delivery, along with exclusive Old Brick and luxury mattresses.
