ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Fifty couples in Albany got an early start to Valentine’s Day on Friday. A wedding vow renewal ceremony was held at Jack’s Oyster House.
Some of the couples have been married for more than 50 years. That includes Richard and Betty Ann Filkins of Westerlo, who will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this May. They say their long-lasting marriage is based on give and take. They also say to talk things out — and not go to bed mad.
