Guitar master Buckethead coming to Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Empire Live in Albany will be hosting a performance by electric guitar virtuoso Buckethead. The concert is slated for May 12 at 8 p.m.

Known for his unmistakable white mask and Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket-style top hat, Buckethead has released more than 30 full solo studio albums and over 600 shorter records from his “Pikes” series. He’s acclaimed for his songs “Soothsayer,” “Nottingham Lace,” and “Big Sur Moon.”

The guitar master has played alongside artists such as Guns N’ Roses, Les Claypool, Bootsy Collins, and Viggo Mortensen throughout his career. He returns to the Capital Region after performing in Albany last April.
