Schenectady family speaks out after loved one dies in fatal auto-pedestrian accident

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– The investigation into a fatal auto-pedestrian accident in Schenectady at the beginning of the month, is ongoing. The pedestrian was fifty-nine year old Gerald Fessenden, known to his family as Bobby. This loss has been devastating for his loved ones, who told us they never imagined their life without him.

“We were definitely not prepared for this at all,” said Stephanie Moreno, Bobby’s daughter. “It’s just been a nightmare. I couldn’t even imagine living in a world without my dad. I thought that my dad would always be there.”

For Stephanie, and her mom Patricia, losing Bobby has been a shock.
