Bomb threat leads to evacuation at SUNY Schenectady; campus cleared

SCHENECTADY, NY (WRGB) — A bomb threat prompted a large law enforcement response and an evacuation Thursday night at SUNY Schenectady County Community College.

Just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office and additional law enforcement agencies responded after campus personnel reported receiving a bomb threat by phone. Campus personnel notified Campus Safety, and all remaining people on campus were quickly evacuated per protocol.
