LOUDONVILLE — Earlier this month, a Loudonville property closed for $2.775 million, marking the highest residential sale in Albany County in more than a decade.
Anthony Gucciardo, president of Gucciardo Real Estate Group, represented the buyer in the purchase of the 8,000-square-foot Neoclassical-inspired estate located at 7 Stoneridge Drive. The four-bedroom mansion includes a lower level designed for entertaining that opens to a tiered patio featuring an in-ground pool and outdoor kitchen, all set against sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.
The sale eclipsed the neighborhood’s previous record of $2.5 million, set recently by a nearby property. The highest-priced home ever sold in Albany County went for $2.8 million in 2014. It, too, was located in the town of Colonie.“This sale is incredibly meaningful to me,” said Gucciardo in a press release. “I’ve worked with this client for more than 20 years, and over that time I’ve represented him in more than 50 real estate transactions.
