Stanford admitted to working alongside three others to rob the two occupants of an SUV at gunpoint on Second Avenue in Albany around 2 a.m. on May 25, 2025. He and his group took $70 in cash from one of the victims before driving away in the stolen car.
Albany Police located the SUV a short time later and engaged in a brief pursuit. Stanford and his group eventually abandoned the car on Colonie Street while trying to evade law enforcement.
