Applebee’s Announces New Wave Of Restaurant Closures, Including In Capital Region

Parent company Dine Brands Global confirmed the closures will include several long-standing locations across the US, including one in upstate New York, according to The Hill.

The Glenville Applebee’s in Schenectady County at 268 Saratoga Road is set to close permanently on Sunday, April 12, after 10 years in business, CNY News reports.

Additional closures have also been confirmed in the Midwest. Both corporate-owned Applebee’s in Evansville, Indiana closed on Monday, Feb. 19, after approximately 30 years of operation, the Evansville Courier-Press reported.
