ALBANY — A 40-year-old Amsterdam man pleaded guilty Friday to charges that accused him of distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl through the mail, federal prosecutors announced Monday.
Felix Arencibia pleaded guilty to conspiracy and methamphetamine distribution charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The scheme — investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Postal Inspection Service — revolved around Arencibia receiving at least 5,615 grams of methamphetamine through the Postal Service from a supplier in Nevada before selling it to other dealers in the Capital Region between November 2022 and July 2023, prosecutors said…
