Two men plead guilty to robbing, beating a man in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Two men have pleaded guilty in connection with a robbery that took place on Clinton Avenue in August 2025. 20-year-old Amazjee Glass and 32-year-old Nahshon Joseph, pleaded guilty on March 2 to charges associated with the robbery during which a man was beaten.

Glass pleaded guilty to Robbery in the Second Degree. He will face a five-year prison sentence, followed by five years of post-release supervision.

Joseph pleaded guilty to two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. He will face seven to 12 years in state prison, followed by five years of post-release supervision when he is sentenced in April.

Their guilty pleas come after an incident that took place on August 12, 2025, just after 1:45 p.m., when Albany Police responded to Clinton Avenue and found a 68-year-old man who said he had just been robbed and beaten…
