ALBANY — Olive & Oregano, a restaurant with two significant distinguishing aspects — a Dominican-Greek menu and 24-hour service — is being developed in a downtown storefront at MVP Arena by a veteran in local real estate and consulting who, with partners, is making her first venture into hospitality. The menu, available for takeout, delivery and catering only, is an homage to the owners’ respective heritages.
Projected to open at 51 S. Pearl St. by the end of the month after interior renovations to what previously was the Albany satellite of Saratoga Springs-based West Ave Chicken, the restaurant already has a sophisticated website that introduces its vision.

We exist in that tension, making everyday food reliable, nourishing, and easy to fit into real life.”…
