Isla’s Divine Desserts operates out of a bake shed in front of the Davis home at 7 Pinebrook Drive in Milton, selling cookies, brownies, pies, cakes, sweet bread, coffee cake, and more. Isla’s mom, Alyson Davis, told NEWS10 that Isla just doesn’t have the passion for it anymore.

“She started when she was 10 and I think over the years, it has become more of a chore than something she enjoys doing,” said Alyson Davis. “I was doing a lot of the day to day baking as well and I have some new things on my plate.”

Isla’s Divine Desserts got national attention by being featured on Fox Business News in December 2022, which allowed the family to raise the money they needed to buy a double oven to help with production. Isla is currently in 8th grade at Ballston Spa Middle School.

“Right now, she is thinking about a career in the medical field, so she is not planning on pursuing baking, although I’m sure we will all get amazing cakes for our birthdays,” said Alyson Davis…
