TROY — Police are investigating after a video surfaced Thursday showing a woman berating a city parking enforcement officer and briefly driving away in the officer’s city-issued vehicle.
The video, which the woman appears to have taken herself, shows her yelling at the officer while he is issuing her a ticket for being parked in a crosswalk on Congress Street.
She shouts obscenities and a racial slur at the officer, who is Black, in the 43-second video reviewed by the Times Union. The video also shows the officer warning the woman to get away from his city of Troy sedan before she gets into the vehicle and drives it several feet while shouting that his car is blocking bus traffic on Congress Street…
