ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The AI Plus Symposium is taking place at UAlbany this weekend. It’s an international gathering of professionals and educators focusing on the transformative potential of AI while addressing the ethical, technical and institutional challenges posed by AI.
This inaugural event is a mix of keynotes, workshops and demos with academics and professionals sharing the latest technology to solve some of the world’s biggest problems.

As Eric Stern, Director of the AI & Society Research Center, detailed: “multiple grand challenges of society from extreme weather and climate issues to public health to safety and security. And in all those cases we want to promote the technology in ways that are ethical and promote the public good.”
