Two from Schenectady arrested on I-87 after traffic stop uncovers stun gun, drugs

Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — A traffic stop on I-87 in the town of Wilton on Tuesday led to the arrests of two from Schenectady on weapons, impaired driving and drug possession charges, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said it stopped a vehicle at 3:39 p.m. for moving from a lane unsafely. The investigation into the stop resulted in the arrest of 52-year-old Stacey McDuffie and 50-year-old Eric Parker both of Schenectady, NY.

McDuffie was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, along with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, and moving from lane unsafely. Authorities accused McDuffie of possessing a stun gun after previously being convicted of a crime, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and with a blood alcohol content of 0.11%, and failing to keep the vehicle as nearly as practicable within a single lane…
